On Saturday, September 4, the Second Annual Meeting of the Japanese Association of Regenerative Dentistry will be held at the Hokkaido Dental Association Hall in Sapporo. We welcome the participation of researchers and clinicians who continue to push forward in the development of regenerative dentistry in Japan.

While the schedule of the meeting has not been finalized, the following special lectures are being planned: "Regenerative medicine from the viewpoint of the biochemistry of collagen (tentative title)" by Dr. Mitsuo Yamauchi, Professor of Dental Research Center, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; and "New hard tissue regeneration techniques and materials (tentative title)" by Dr. Toshimasa Uemura, Chief Researcher at Age Dimension Research Center, National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology. In addition, there will be about 15 ten-minute oral presentations and 5 poster presentations.
